ZMDI’s ZSSC3122 is capacitive sensor signal conditioner with wide-dynamic-range and low power consumption. The chip delivers 14-bit resolution and 0.25% full-scale-output accuracy. The signal conditioning circuit has an operating current as low as 60 µA over the entire voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V. A built-in sleep mode lowers current consumption to <1 µA for temperatures up to 85°C, making it ideal in low-power battery applications. The circuit targets MEMS sensing elements, such as pressure sensors for hydraulic control systems, humidity sensors and liquid level gauges.

Hello,
I’m looking for proximity sensors but for rugged outdoor use such as for vehicle parking lots. What is your suggestion for that. I’ve heard of several approaches such as Ultrasound and magnetic field sensors.
Looking forward to your response
