The Smart Systems Integration 2014 Conference (SSI 2014) will take place in Vienna Austria on March 26-27 and address the integration issues of miniaturized systems that use microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS), ICs and electronic components. At SSI 2014, over 100 internationally recognized speakers from industry-leading organizations in science and industry will provide attendees with the most recent developments, applications and trends in the field of integration issues of miniaturized systems. Main conference topics include:
- 3D integration and interconnect technologies
- Design of smart systems
- Manufacturing of smart systems
- System integration and packaging
Among the technical papers is a poster session presentation titled, “Critical Success Factors for the Commercialization of MEMS: The 2013 MEMS Industry Report Card” by Roger Grace, President of Roger Grace Associates. Initially developed in 1998, the report card has been updated every year documenting the progress and shortcomings of this highly visible technology area that provides several sensor technologies. Input is still being solicited for the report card prior to the presentation at SSI 2014.
