The normal progression for sensor products has historically been: introduce an analog sensor and then a digital version. Honeywell has reversed the order with Zephyr Airflow Sensors. Since introducing the digital version in April, the company recently launched an analog version. Designed for customers that are either replacing legacy analog parts or who prefer to operate with an analog sensor, the analog version has the same high accuracy (2.5%) and packaging as the digital versions. The fully calibrated and temperature compensated units target the measurement of the mass flow of air and other non-corrosive gases in medical and industrial applications.
