Dirty industrial environments with weld sparks or cross talk can cause problems for optical scanners – especially for area and access guarding applications. With the microScan3 Core, SICK addresses these issues. The compact safety laser scanner has a 5.5 m range and boasts an industry first 275° scanning angle.  Patented safeHDDM™ (high definition distance measurement) scanning technology filters out potential environmental disturbances such as dust and ambient light.

Based on time-of-flight technology, the scanner has improved scan accuracy for higher reliability and less downtime. It comes with M12 standard plugs, a USB connection and system plug for easy configuration cloning if the scanner gets damaged and needs to be replaced.
