In addition to a large full-scale range of up to ±18g combined with high bandwidth, STMicroelectronics’ newest 3-axis MEMS accelerometer boasts low noise, and high mechanical and thermal stability. Combining high data rate with low-noise operation, the LIS344AHH enables monitoring of small-amplitude displacements. The full-scale, user-selectable range up to ±6g or ±18g provides improved performance over similar devices that measure up to ±16g. It has a supply voltage range of 2.4V to 3.6V and an embedded self-test.
Housed in a 4 x 4 x 1.5-mm 16-lead LGA-16 package, the accelerometer targets gaming, user-interface and augmented reality experiences, as well as industrial controls and impact monitoring.
