Sense Static Electricity and Avoid Problems

February 17, 2015 By Randy Frank

If you have an area or operation that develops static electricity, you probably should beSK Series Hand Held-5x5-300dpi-CMYK testing to make sure that adequate steps are being taken to avoid damage and unsafe conditions. If you are not sure, perhaps you need to make electrostatic measurements to determine the current situation.  In either case, KEYENCE’s SK series of Electrostatic Sensors can make measurements of static electricity, temperature and humidity. Hand-held and inline models allow the user to monitor charges on parts or check the performance of a static eliminator while viewing or outputting data. The SK-050 inline static sensor can confirm the presence or absence of an applied charge up to 50kV.
