Good things do not happen when water is present in fuel. To prevent problems, Gems Sensors & Controls has introduced a sensor that detects the presence of water in fuel or lubricating oil. The WIF-1250 is a solid-state conductivity technology based solution that generates an alternating voltage to a probe tip. If water is present, the circuit is completed changing the output state. The circuitry is contained in a nickel-plated steel housing and operates at temperatures up to 257°F (125°C). The sensors are available in 1/4” NPT and M12 mountings.
