The Endevco PODs design from Meggitt Sensing Systems uses a single accelerometer form factor, devices with a variety of sensitivities and packaging mounting configurations or bases to accomplish several types of single and tri-axial measurements from a single measurement point. The design concept allows users to a make a verity of measurements in a test environment with a low inventory of accelerometers. The 46AXX accelerometer uses the company’s Isotron integral electronic piezoelectric sensors that provide sensitivities from 10 to 1,000 mV/g. The global introduction of this product will occur at the 2014 Sensors Expo & Conference, June 24-26 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill.
