Internet of Things (IoT) applications that include portable, wearable and wireless products add both space and power limitations to design constraints. For pressure sensing requirements, Honeywell’s Amplified Basic Pressure (ABP) sensors target both of these and provide additional features as well.
Expanding Honeywell’s Basic Pressure Sensors portfolio that includes both uncompensated (NBP) and compensated (TBP) versions, the ABP sensors have amplified analog and digital, I2C or SPI, outputs. Additional features of the ABPs include wet-media compatibility, as well as sleep mode and temperature output options. The board-mounted ABP sensors have a ±1.5% total error band (TEB) and are capable of reading pressure ranges from 60 mbar to 10 bar, 6 kPa to 1 MPa and 1 psi to 150 psi.
