Configuration Tools Version 3.1 is now available for the scanCONTROL series of laser profile scanners. The set up and configuration software simplifies the configuration of scanCONTROL sensors using a Windows PC. It visualizes, loads, saves and exports measured profiles. “Smart” level scanCONTROL sensors utilize the complete range of features of this new software: complex measurement tasks (such as angle and step measurements) and required interfaces are configured directly in the sensor. The measuring system is configured in five easy steps. The configured measuring system runs as a standalone solution and sends the calculated values to a PLC or other device for further processing. “Compact” and “High speed” level laser profile scanners can also be operated using Configuration Tools 3.1. Here, measured values are evaluated on a PC.
