At Design West, Infinite Power Solutions’ Joe Keating updates Sensor Tips senior editor Randy Frank on the company’s newest energy harvesting development tool/kit for developing a building automation sensor system based on harvesting the light energy in the room. The sensors include passive infrared, humidity, temperature and light level sensors, some of the most popular sensors for building automation. The development tool uses Microchip Technology’s MiWi RF protocol and IPS’ THINERGY Micro-Energy Cells (MECs).
