Extending automatic driver assistance systems (ADAS) to a broad range of vehicles, beyond high-end luxury vehicles, requires considerable cost reduction. By achieving single shot detection of up to 250 meters with an angular resolution smaller than 0.1° in broad daylight with its MEMS-based miniature laser scanning technology, Innoluce has created an option to enable long range, high resolution and solid state automotive LiDAR for a price point below $100.
Built from silicon, solid-state MEMS mirrors enable millimeter sized mirrors but can achieve high stability. Temperature stability testing shows less than 0.5% frequency change over the full automotive operating temperature range, even in the most severe vibration tests.
