If you can continuously monitor and communicate data from rivers, swimming pools and spas, sea water or remote ponds, you have smart water. For these types of water quality applications, Libelium launched a Smart Water wireless sensor platform. Using its Waspmote wireless technology, sensor data from probes can be transmitted to the Cloud via 3G, GPRS, or WCDMA cellular connections. The sensor probes measure more than 12 chemical and physical water quality parameters including pH, nitrates (NO3), phosphates, dissolved ions (Na+, Ca+, F-, Cl, Vr-, I-, Cu2+, K+, Mg2+, NO3-) dissolved oxygen (DO), conductivity (salinity), oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), temperature, and more.
