What sensing events will be held in 2022?

January 12, 2022 By Randy Frank Leave a Comment

January is a great time to line up major sensing activities for the rest of the year. The following provide an idea of what will occur in 2022 for sensor experts to attend or present the results of their recent efforts.

Fast approaching, the 7th Annual Sensors Global Summit 2022 will be held March 2-3 in La Jolla, CA and focus on enabling smart devices for the future of healtchcare. Registering by Jan 28 can get up to $250 cost reduction.

The Global Conference on Sensors and Sensing Technology (GCSST-2022) will be held March 10-12 via Webinar. The program will consist of selected 25+ Plenary and Keynote speakers, multi-disciplinary workshops, active Invited speakers and fresh contributed featured speakers from more than 35+ countries. There is still time to submit an abstract.

The Global Meet on Sensors and Sensing Technology (GMSST2022) will be held June 20-22 in Rome, Italy. Abstracts and proposals for workshops can still be submitted.

Sensors Converge will be held June 27-29 in San Jose, CA. This year’s theme is Design Innovation Meets Tech Innovation.

The 2022 IEEE Sensors Applications Symposium will be held August 1 – 3 in Sundsvall, Sweden. The deadline for submissions for technical papers is March 14. The symposium’s focus for sensors applications includes many areas including smart agriculture, smart buildings and smart cities and communities. In addition to addressing several topics in sensor technologies and methods, the symposium will also include sensors standards.

The 2nd Ed. of the Sensors Technologies International conference – Sensors 2022 will be held October 26 – 28 in Athens, Greece. The event offers an opportunity to participants to present their results related to both theoretical and applied research in the field of sensors, biosensors, actuators, micro and nanosystems as well as the emerging and related technology and application areas. Abstract submissions are being solicited.

IEEE Sensors 2022 will be held Oct 30 – Nov 2 in Dallas and address several topics of interest including energy harvesting and powering sensors, sensor data processing, wearable sensors and systems, sensors in industrial practices and more. At this point, interested research scientists, engineers and practitioners are invited to submit proposals for focused sessions, tutorials and papers.

The IEEE Sensors Council offers other, more focused, sensor events in 2022.
